What I Wore: White Chucks

It's been awhile but I'm back with at quick WIW post. Spring is attempting to make her appearance and I'm excited to pull out skirts, crop tops, and sandals.

This outfit is simple and relaxed. I find my style is slowly evolving. I'm liking it. I chose to dress down a maxi skirt, with a chambray denim top. I tied to give the crop top affect since its warming up here. I added gold accessories and the necklace has a bit of neon detailing for a hint of color.

Skirt: H&M
Denim Top: Forever 21
White Converse

What I Wore: Crop Tops & Wide Leg Pants

Hey dolls! A day late with my WIW post. Better late than never.

I wore this look for a friends birthday get together. The pants were purchased from JCPenney a while back and I hadn't had the opportunity to wear them. I kept the top and accessories pretty simple because I didn't want to deviate any attention from the pants. Or cause the look to be too busy. Wide leg and Harem styled pants are definitely making a comeback. Circa 1980's or 1970's. I love these pants because they are definitely a comfortable and stylish choice.

Tell me what you think.

What I Wore: White Denim

Back again with a WIWW post! Hope everyone ended their summer with a great Labor Day.

I spent my weekend attending various cookouts and parties. This was one outfit that I wore for a day party on Sunday. I decided to pull out my white denim and pair it with a soft flowy yellow top. I chose to wear nude heels to keep the look simple and fresh. To complete the look I accessorized with a pair of gold knotted studs, Marc Jacobs watch, and Monogramed necklace. This look was perfect for a Sunday afternoon, simple, fresh and casual. Below are a few looks, tell me what you think.

What I Wore Wednesdays

Hey dolls!  I'm back for the 2nd installment to my new blog series. Wednesday's will be dedicated to "What I Wore" posts.

This Wednesday, my What I Wore features a comfy and relaxed look. The main peice in this look is a soft knitted sweater from LC by Lauren Conrad. The color of this sweater was very flattering for my skintone. And the off-the-shoulder detail added just the right touch of femininity to this look. Light sweaters like this are perfect for the transitioning months between Summer and Fall. I wore this outfit to a family gathering for a cousins birthday. I knew that I would be outside a lot and wanted to wear something that would be transitional from the day time warmth to the cooler night. I love wearing sweaters like this on cool summer nights. I kept the look very simple by pairing it with my favorite pair of dark washed skinny denim pants and a sleek pair of white flip flops. I chose not to accessorize heavily and completed the look with a set of pearl studs. Below are a few pictures of the looks. Tell me what you think? And look out for more WIWW posts coming soon!

Motivational Mondays

Hey dolls!  Welcome to the first installment of my new blog series. I've decided to begin a new blog series of 2-3 post a week. Each day will have a theme or a title relating to the post. I'm thinking Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This will help me be a little more diligent in posting. I've been super busy with my new job, moving, and other things. I've now been able to wrap my mind around everything thats been going on over the last few months after graduating college. Now that I have my schedule figured out and I'm getting used to things, I am able to devote a gracious amount of time to the blog and youtube. Anyways.....

Today is the first Motivational Monday post!. Every Monday to start off the week,  I will be posting a motivational quote, experience, or story that may or may not be related to fashion. This first installment is none other than a quote. :)

"Elegance is the beauty that never fades." -Audrey Hepburn

Remember ladies, beauty is much more than a pretty face.
