Spring into Neons

Neons, Neons, Neons!! Either you love them or you're not so sure how to incorporate them into your wardrobe. The best thing about neons is that you only need to have one piece and you can be on trend. The trick is balance.

This spring season, black and white has become a very chic trend. What better way to balance out a neon peice than by pairing it with black and white. If you're contemplating on how you would like to wear neon colors this season. First go choose something easy to incorporate, like a belt, scarf, or handbag.

You also want to make sure that your neon is either going to be a "top" piece or "bottom." If you're choosing to wear a neon top, chose black bottoms, or white, and vice versa. If you are more trendy, try color blocking with neons. Be careful not to go over board though or you'll risk looking like a pack of highlighters. You can even incorporate neons by simply using nail polish or accessories such as a bracelet or earrings.

Whichever way you choose to wear neons, have fun this spring and brighten up your wardrobes!

Spring Pastels

Spring time is nearing us. It's time to pull out your fun and flowing scarves, skirts, hats, and sunglasses. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, because, much like fall here on the east coast the weather can be slightly warm, and a bit breezy all at the same time. This is a great time of the year to play with textures and layers in your wardrobe.

This Spring, is all about pastels, and neons. I love the soft hues of mints, peaches, and florals. Pleated, skirts, lace, and high-low silhouettes are also trending for the spring. Below are a couple of ways to wear pastels. Don't be afraid to add a light weight moto jacket, or trench. As the spring weather can be a bit unpredictable, it is still okay to wear your booties and scarves as well.

If your style is not super trendy, try only accessorizing with pastel hues. You can do this with mint bangles or peach hued earrings. Or, you may also opt for a pastel colored statement piece, like a handbag, or jacket.

However, you choose to use this trend have fun with it and make it yours!
